Welcome to Tranquillity Ranch
Produce farming amid the Rocky Mountains
Produce farming amid the Rocky Mountains
Situated at the base of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range, at an elevation of 8,600 feet, one will find Tranquillity Ranch.
Owners, Linda and Adrian Washington, have cultivated this 35 acre ranch to produce year round fruits and vegetables. The ranch is also the home to goats and honey bees.
The Washington’s are committed to producing the highest quality of farm products, including honey, fresh eggs, jams, soaps and other specialty gifts.
Fruits and vegetables are successfully tended to in an outdoor garden, and in an innovative greenhouse, designed to control the ideal environment for plants not typically grown in high elevations, including citrus, pineapple, ginger, and turmeric. Every plant is nurtured individually, ensuring it will harvest an abundance of delicious produce.
Seedlings and Saplings are available for growing your own fruits and vegetables for your flourishing home garden. At Tranquillity Ranch, to accomplish the successful germination of each seed, the conditions to assure the proper amount of moisture, light and temperature are carefully monitored. As seasons change, Tranquillity Ranch breeds new saplings through their fruit tree propagation program. Purchasing seedlings and saplings is a great way to start or enhance your home garden.
Tranquillity Ranch participates in community events, such as the wellness clinics, and sometimes at the Westcliffe Farmers Market. We also will let people know if we have products available though our Facebook page and Custer County community Facebook pages. You can also purchase products by contacting Tranquillity Ranch through the link below to put in an order for plants, fruit, vegetables, eggs, and honey.
